Dirty Lion Mud Run & 1 Mile Leo Mud Run
The Dirty Lion Mud Run & 1 Mile Leo Mud Run takes place on June 27, 2026 in King George, Virginia at 7800 Fitzhugh Lane. The event includes two race distances:
- 4 Mile
- 1 Mile
The 4 Mile Mud Run features obstacles, mud holes and trails. A team challenge is included for the 4 Mile with three team levels: Largest Team Challenge for groups of 21 or more, Medium Team Challenge for 11 to 20 participants, and Smallest Team Challenge for groups with fewer than 10 participants. Each team level has awards for most team members and best team outfits.
Individual awards for the 4 Mile include overall top three men and women and age group awards for 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. The 1 Mile event awards the top three boys and girls younger than 14 and age group awards for 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-13.
The event is organized as a fundraiser for the Dahlgren Lions Club to support eye exams, glasses, hearing exams, hearing aids, scholarships and related local service activities. Parking is available in the cul-de-sac near the event address. Packet pickup for race bibs and shirts is scheduled for race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
