Marina 2 Marina : Marlborough Sounds trail events
Marina 2 Marina is an annual community-led running and walking event in the Marlborough Sounds that begins and ends at London Quay, Picton. The event offers multiple course options that follow coastal and native-bush trails between Picton, Waikawa and Anakiwa, with views over the Marlborough Sounds and a festival atmosphere at the Picton waterfront finish.
The courses run through native bush and along waterfront tracks. Course details and participant minimum ages and elevation gains are given below. The longest course, The Link, follows the Queen Charlotte Track route from Anakiwa to Picton and includes an optional competitor-only boat transfer from Picton to the Anakiwa start. The Marina 2 Marina course follows the Picton to Waikawa track and was extended to 10 km around the Marina.

Age and elevation notes: The Link requires entrants aged 16 or older with total elevation gain of 535 m; The Snout requires 14 or older with 433 m gain; the 10 km course requires 7 or older with 175 m gain; the Kids Dash is for 5 to 9 year olds.
