King & Queen of the Withers
The event is a 10 km hill run or fun walk in Wither Hills Farm Park, Blenheim. The course offers views over the town and across to Taylor Pass and is described as a hill course that attracts a range of participants, from first timers to some of New Zealand’s top runners.
The winner and titleholder for King of the Withers and Queen of the Withers will be the first male and first female across the finish line and may come from any grade. Grades are Juniors (under 20), Seniors (under 35) and Veterans (35 and over).
Entry options include online entry for $25 and on the day entry for $25. Online entries are not open yet. Both online and on the day entrants collect race numbers at the registration desk. On the day entries and registration take place at the Rifle Range car park on Rifle Range Place, Blenheim. A printable entry form is available to bring to registration. Payments on the day are cash only as there is no EFT POS.
Race briefings take place immediately before each event. A sausage sizzle will be available and a coffee cart will be on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
