Mardi Gras Madness - Fort Worth
Mardi Gras Madness takes place on 02/07/2027 at Cravens Park, 400 Cravens Park Dr, Arlington, TX 76018. The event includes in-person and virtual options and is presented with themed on-course elements, awards, and volunteer roles.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash - ~50 meters, ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile - open to all ages, non-timed
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed, awards
- 10K - 6.22 miles, chip timed, awards
- Volunteer then Run 5K - 3.11 miles, limited spots
- Virtual Run - 6.22 miles, remote participation
All participants receive a finisher medal and a race tee. The shirt size guarantee applies to registrations made at least 10 days before race day. The 5K and 10K include overall trophies for 1st male and female, masters (40+) recognition pins, and standard age-group awards with 1st gold, 2nd silver, and 3rd bronze pins across listed age ranges.
The Kids Dash is non-timed, includes a special kids medal and a tee, and may feature professional photos. A costume contest is held at the start area with a prize pack and a Grand Marshal honor determined by crowd response.
Packet pickup is offered 1.5 hours before the event. Courses are typically held on parks and greenbelts and may include paved trails, crushed granite, or dirt. The event proceeds regardless of weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
