Marco Island Half Marathon and 5K
The event is the 16th annual Marco Island Half Marathon and 5K held in Marco Island, Florida. Net proceeds benefit Marco Island Schools (Tommie Barfield, MICMS, MIA, and Lely), Our Daily Bread, and the Gulf Coast Runners Youth Development Fund. The event is professionally chip timed and includes finish line video, unique finisher medals, race shirts, age group awards, and a post-race celebration. Packet pick up is available at Tenney Law Offices, 1770 San Marco Road, and there is a race day pick up location in front of Physicians' Regional at 1839 San Marco Road. Registration opens July 6, 2026. Price tiers listed include: Half Marathon $55 until Jan 17, 2027, $75 until Feb 21, $90 until Mar 6, $100 Race Day; 5K $30 until Jan 17, 2027, $35 until Mar 6, $40 Race Day. GCR members receive a 5% discount. Permit status is pending.
Participation notes: strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course, the minimum age for the half marathon is 13 years, and there is a three hour time limit due to course restrictions.
