Marco Island Half Marathon and 5K
The Marco Island Half Marathon and 5K takes place on March 1, 2026 in Marco Island, Florida. The event is the 15th annual edition and includes two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
The event benefits local organizations and programs, including Marco Island schools (Tommie Barfield, MICMS, MIA, and Lely), Our Daily Bread, and the Gulf Coast Runners Youth Development Fund. The half marathon route runs around Marco Island and crosses the Goodland Bridge. The races are professionally chip timed and feature finish line video, unique finisher medals, race shirts, post race celebration, and age group awards.
Due to safety concerns, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. Early registration is recommended because of course restrictions. The half marathon has a minimum registration age of 13 years and a three hour time limit.
Packet pick up is scheduled for Saturday February 28 from 10am to 2pm at Tenney Law Offices, 1770 San Marco Road, Marco Island FL 34145. Race day packet pick up is available in front of Physicians Regional at 1839 San Marco Road.
Price windows are published for each distance with incremental increases as the event approaches. Gulf Coast Runners members receive a 5 percent discount. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
