Marble Falls Triathlon
The 23rd annual Marble Falls Triathlon takes place on July 26, 2026 in Marble Falls, Texas at 108 Buena Vista Drive. The event includes open water swims in Lake Marble Falls, bike courses through town and surrounding farm and ranch areas, and runs through a lakeside neighborhood. Food and drink are provided after the race.
Distances offered include:
- Intermediate: 1 km swim, 16 mile bike, 4.4 mile run
- Sprint: 500 m swim, 12 mile bike, 2.2 mile run
The event is USAT sanctioned. Swim conditions are typically in the 80 to 84 degree range, which makes wetsuits not legal for award eligibility. The swim uses a time trial start; bibs are assigned by submitted swim times with faster swimmers starting earlier. Participants without a USAT membership must purchase a one day membership at registration for $15.
Equipment requirements state that bikes must be in good working condition, including correct tire pressure, bar ends in handlebar ends, tight handlebar stem and seat post, and working brakes. A bicycle helmet with chin strap is mandatory; skate helmets are not allowed. E bikes are not allowed.
Registration requires a minimum age of 13. Prices vary by registration date with early bird individual entries at $109 and later individual rates up to $139. No race day registrations are allowed and the event has a no refund policy. Packet pick up is available at listed bike shops and the local hotel prior to race day. Awards include overall and masters male and female winners and 1st to 3rd in five year age groups, plus relay awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
