Marble Falls Triathlon
The 24th Annual Marble Falls Triathlon is scheduled for July 26, 2026 at Lake Marble Falls in the hill country around the City of Marble Falls. The event offers a timed swim start and runs around lake, town and nearby ranch areas with a lakeside run course.
Distances:
- Intermediate: 1 km swim, 16 mile bike, 4.4 mile run
- Sprint: 500 m swim, 12 mile bike, 2.2 mile run
Swim conditions are in warm freshwater; water temperatures are typically in the 80 to 84 degree Fahrenheit range and wetsuits are not legal for award eligibility under USAT rules. Participants must estimate open-water swim times; bibs are assigned by those estimates with faster swim times starting earlier.
The event is USAT sanctioned. Participants without a USAT membership must purchase a one day membership at registration. Age group is determined by age on December 31, 2025. No race day registrations are accepted. The event policy states no refunds; transfers or sales of registrations must be handled through the registration site and follow USAT rules, with a transfer deadline on July 22, 2026.
Awards include overall and masters divisions, top three in five year age groups, relay winners, and finisher medals for the first 400 finishers. Organizers list packet pick up locations in San Antonio, Austin and Marble Falls and note a need for volunteers, especially kayakers.
