Marble City 5K
Marble City Running organizes a community road race in Knoxville that includes a 5K and a Kids Mile. The event is sponsored by Fas' Movement and other community partners. Registration opens 05/12/2026 and closes 06/20/2026. Registration fees are $30.00 for the 5K and $15.00 for the Kids Mile.

The 5K course starts by exiting south from John Tarleton Park, then turning right onto Sutherland Avenue and heading west for approximately 1.5 miles. Runners then turn right into the Dead End BBQ parking lot and follow the front parking lot perimeter counterclockwise to the parking lot exit onto Sutherland Avenue. The route continues left, east on Sutherland Avenue for about 1.5 miles, then turns left, north onto the entrance road to John Tarleton Park and finishes after roughly 0.1 miles.
Course support will be provided by the Knoxville Police Department to assist with traffic and road closures. Packet pickup is available Sunday morning starting at 6:30am at a location to be determined. Parking is provided at Field #2 at John Tarleton Park.
Awards include prizes for top Male and top Female overall, small prizes for top finishers in each age category (10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) and raffle prizes during race check-in. The first 100 5K registrants receive custom Marble City socks; last-minute orders are not guaranteed a giveaway item. All proceeds benefit Keep Knoxville Beautiful.
