The Fireball Classic 5K and Kid's Mile, presented by The Long Run, is scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2026 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The event includes the following distances:

The race is associated with the Knoxville Track Club Grand Prix and team competition for the 2025 series. Course, logistics and awards
The 5K starts on Neyland Drive in the eastbound lane in front of the G-10 parking lot, goes out and returns in the westbound lane, and finishes near Neyland Stadium. The Kid's Mile is an out-and-back on Neyland Drive. Packet pickup is available in advance at The Long Run (2452 Sutherland Avenue) and on race day at the pavilion between the G-10 Parking Garage and the Tickle Engineering Building. Adult shirts are gender-specific tanks; children receive a shirt and a finisher's medal. Shirt orders are placed in early June and sizes should be selected before that order date.
Awards are given to the top three overall and to age-category winners, plus Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, Overall Clydesdale (men over 200 lbs.), and Overall Athena (women over 150 lbs.). Awards are not mailed and are available for pickup at The Long Run. Post-race refreshments will be provided in the event tent. Roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course; the 5K course closes after 1 hour and 15 minutes.
