Fireball Classic 5K and Kid's Mile
The Fireball Classic returns for its 42nd year on July 3, 2026 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The event is based on Neyland Drive with assembly near the G-10 parking garage and a finish area near Neyland Stadium. The Casual Pint - Northshore is the title sponsor for 2026.
Course notes: runners start in the east bound lane in front of the G-10 parking lot, run out and return in the west bound lane, and finish near Neyland Stadium. The Kid's Mile is an out and back on Neyland Drive. The 5K course closes after one hour and fifteen minutes.

Registration opened on November 3, 2025. Fee structure for the 5K includes an early bird rate through December 31, tiered increases thereafter, and a day of race price. The Kid's Mile fee is reduced through December 31 and increases after January 1. No refunds or bib transfers are permitted.
Shirts and awards: adult shirts are a unisex cotton muscle tee; kids receive a shirt and a finisher's medal. Shirt orders are placed on June 5; registering by June 4 helps ensure correct sizes. Results will be posted on Runsignup after the race.
Race policies: roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course. Headphone use is discouraged. Post race refreshments will be provided at the event tent.
