Marazion Triathlon
The event takes place on Marazion Beach in Mount's Bay with St Michael's Mount visible from the course. The swim stage is in the typically calm waters in front of the mount. The bike follows quiet country lanes in west Cornwall described as a Cornish flat course. The run is along the Marazion seafront path and passes areas used by passers-by, spectators and supporters near the finish.
The event offers multiple distance formats on the same day, including relay and an Aquabike option. New for 2026 is a middle distance Aquabike for competitors who omit the running stage. Age eligibility varies by race.
Distances and named entries include:
- Kernowman Super Sprint: 400m swim, 15km bike, 2.5km run
- Kernowman Olympic: 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
- Kernowman 70.3: 1900m swim, 90km bike, 21.1km run
- Kernowman 70.3 Relay: 1900m swim, 90km bike, 21.1km run
- Kernowman Aquabike: 1900m swim, 90km bike
The description of the course emphasizes flat and fast sections on bike and run and a sheltered swim near the mount. The event is presented as offering options from short to middle distance on the Marazion beachfront. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
