Maple Valley Bear Run & Walk 5K

The Maple Valley Bear Run & Walk 5K is a community run and walk held at Lake Wilderness Park in Maple Valley, Washington on June 27, 2026. The event uses a measured 5K course and posts official results based on chip timing.

Registration and packet options include online registration with a reduced adult fee and free entry for children 12 and under when registered online by May 31. Pre-race packet pick up is offered at Road Runner Sports in Kent; t-shirts are only guaranteed for those who register by May 31. Day-of packet pick up and registration are available on race day via personal mobile device, and on-site payments are not accepted.

Chip timing is provided and disposable timing chips are attached to the back of bib numbers. Official results will be published online and are based on chip time; top overall finishers are also recognized using gun time.

Awards are distributed across age divisions ranging from 0–5 up to 100 plus. First place in each age division receives a Bear Run Bear; second and third places receive Bear Run Bells. Jogging strollers are permitted on the trails, dogs are not allowed on the course except service dogs, and water is provided at the finish.
