Maple Ridge Memorial Day Run & Festival
The Maple Ridge Memorial Day Run & Festival is a long-standing athletic tradition in Tulsa, Oklahoma, held to honor fallen soldiers. This event takes place entirely within the historic Maple Ridge neighborhood in the mid-town area, featuring a course surrounded by manicured lawns and historic homes. The event has been a community staple for over 34 years.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The 5 km course is USATF certified and consists of two loops through the hills and winding streets of the neighborhood. Both the start and finish lines are located on Owasso Avenue, specifically between Owasso Island and Madison Avenue.
Participants in the 5 km receive a finisher medal, and race shirts are provided based on availability. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, alongside standard five-year age group awards. The day includes a post-race party and a block party hosted on Owasso Island. Proceeds from the 2026 event support local veterans through the VFW Post 577, an organization dedicated to serving military families and veterans in the Tulsa community.
