Blue Whale Run : Catoosa, OK
The Blue Whale Run takes place in Catoosa, Oklahoma on May 30, 2026. The course runs on the original Route 66 road and finishes at the Blue Whale of Catoosa landmark. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.

The 5K is a certified course. All 5K finishers receive a medal. Shirts are provided on a first come, first serve basis. Awards include standard five-year age group prizes and top-three overall awards for male and female finishers.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event, Friday, May 29, and at the Blue Whale race site on race day. Online registration is open up to race start, and race day registration is possible via phone sign-up with packet pickup on site.
Blue Whale of Catoosa
The Blue Whale is a roadside landmark that was completed in July 1972. It is about 20 feet tall and 80 feet long. The site includes picnic areas, fishing opportunities, turtle feeding, and restroom facilities. The City of Catoosa owns and operates the park and planned park renovations beginning summer 2025.
