Blue Whale Run
The Blue Whale Run takes place at the Blue Whale Park in Catoosa, Oklahoma. The event coincides with the 100th-anniversary celebration of Route 66 and the re-opening of the renovated Blue Whale Park.
Two distances are offered:
- 5K on the original Route 66 road.
- One Mile Fun Run.
All 5K participants receive a finisher's medal. There are awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as standard five-year age group awards. The 5K course is certified. Event t-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Proceeds from the race will go to support the Blue Whale landmark. A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend in person.
Packet pickup is available on the day before the event at a location to be determined. On race day, packet pickup opens at 7:00 AM at the Blue Whale race site. Online registration is available until the race starts. Race day registration is also possible via a mobile phone.
Parking on race day will be located at a place to be determined.
