Many Lite - Castile, NY

Many Lite is a fall trail event held on October 18, 2026 at Letchworth State Park. The route follows park trails through waterfalls, overlooks, and areas of fall foliage, and it uses sections of the park’s gorge trails and park roads.

• Run course: around 20.5 miles
• Hike course: same route, capped at 100 hikers

The route starts at the Parade Grounds entrance and finishes at the High Banks recreation area and lodge. Along the course runners and hikers pass a footbridge, descend and climb stone steps, follow Trail #1 north through overlooks, and traverse a sequence of trails including 6a, 13, 11, 15a, 15, 17, 18, 19, 19B, and 20. The course passes Wolf Creek, the Silver Creek outlet, and historic CCC encampment remains. Organizers note a possible diversion if water is too high at stream crossings.

There are two aid stations located approximately at mile 6 (Tea Tables) and near mile 15 (High Banks Camp). Time cutoffs are based on overall pace: the first 6 miles must be covered within 2.5 hours, aid station two must be cleared within about 5.5 hours, and the official finish is within an 8 hour limit. A shuttle transports runners from the finish area to the start; there is no post-race shuttle returning to the start line.

Registration is $85 and capped at 200 runners. A finisher shirt is provided to registrants who registered by October 1. Volunteers are requested for aid station and finish line support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
