Finger Lakes Triathlon Silver
Finger Lakes Triathlon Silver is a multiday multisport event held at Asbury Camp and Retreat Center, 16 Lakeside Ave, Silver Lake, New York. The event takes place across Wyoming and Livingston Counties and is presented as the 7th annual edition.
The weekend program includes road running, triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike options. Saturday features road runs and youth duathlons. Sunday offers Intermediate and Sprint distances across triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike disciplines. Select charity entry spots are available with a required minimum fundraising amount of $300; those entries include a unique fundraising race bib, access to a VIP post race party, and unique merch and a goody bag.
The event is included in the USA Triathlon Inclusion Experience; selected participants receive free race entry, training support, and community connection through that program. The Intermediate bike course contains notable climbs and elevation changes that affect pacing and effort.
Distances and categories include:
- Intermediate Triathlon: 1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run
- Sprint Triathlon: 0.75k swim, 20k bike, 5k run
- Duathlon Intermediate: 5k run, 40k bike, 10k run
- Duathlon Sprint: 5k run, 20k bike, 5k run
- Aquabike Intermediate: 1.5k swim, 40k bike
- Aquabike Sprint: 0.75k swim, 20k bike
- Saturday runs: 5K and 10K
- Youth Duathlon: age groups 10 and under, 11 to 15
