Event overview
The Sehgahunda Trail Marathon, Marathon Relay and Vale of Three Falls take place May 16-17, 2026 in Portageville, NY at Letchworth State Park (293 Portageville Rd). The weekend includes multiple distance options over two days, with post-race food and drinks and event shirts. The Sehgahunda 72 option spans both days and covers 72 kilometers. Course and logistics
The Trail Marathon follows trails inside Letchworth State Park and includes eight stocked aid stations and a handmade arrowhead finisher medal. Sehgahunda 26.3 participants are required to carry personal hydration on course. Vale of Three Falls races are out-and-back courses on a seasonal gravel service road along East Parade Grounds Road; surfaces include stone, gravel, or broken asphalt and the routes are hilly with scenic overlooks of the Genesee River. Aid station counts for Vale of Three Falls are specified by distance: 5K one station, 10K three stations, 15K five stations. Race swag varies by entry: solo hoodie for the 26.3, relay long sleeve shirt, short sleeve shirts for Vale of Three Falls, and a finisher plaque for Sehgahunda 72.
