Mantua VFW Live and Virtual 5K & 1 Mile "Running for Vets" - 2026

Entry information and other event details are scheduled to be posted in early spring 2026. The event offers both live and virtual options and includes separate student categories for the 5K and the one mile walk.

The live 5K run and the live 1 mile walk start and finish at Mantua VFW, 8 New York Ave., Mantua, NJ, and continue through Chestnut Branch Park. After the events, participants may return to Mantua VFW Post 7679 for post-race activities including an awards ceremony, refreshments, a luncheon, and age-appropriate complimentary beverages.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Honor Flight of Southern New Jersey and the Mantua VFW. Age groups for awards are 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Ribbons are provided to all one mile finishers.
