Overview
The Mantua VFW Live and Virtual 5K & 1 Mile "Running for Vets" is a community sports event held in Mantua, New Jersey. This event features both running and walking options with specific categories for student participants. The course for the live events begins and ends at the Mantua VFW, taking participants through Chestnut Branch Park.

Post-Race Activities and Features
Following the physical events, a gathering is held at the Mantua VFW Post 7679. These festivities include an awards ceremony, a luncheon, and various refreshments. The event is organized with a family-friendly atmosphere and provides ribbons to all participants who finish the 1 mile walk. Age groups for the competitive aspects of the event are divided into categories ranging from 19 and under to 70 and older.
