Manor Water Hill Race
Manor Water Hill Race is Carnethy Hill Running Club’s event held in the Manor valley near Peebles, Scotland, as part of the Manor Sheepdog Trials. Runners register in the field by the Old Manor School and start near Woodhouse Farm, completing a single-loop course that climbs the Glack Hope and Scrape area. The senior race covers about 9.3 miles (15 km) with roughly 2130 feet (650 m) of ascent, taking in White Knowe and Dead Wife’s Grave before the Scrape summit.
The route is self-navigated, with occasional markings and checkpoints. Profits go to the Sheepdog Trial; online entry is £8, cash on the day £10. Bring cash for refreshments and raffle tickets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
