Manitou 5K
The Manitou 5K is scheduled for 10/10/2026 in Manitou Springs and uses Fields Park as its start and finish location. The course follows a rolling creek and passes public paintings, murals and sculptures along the route.
The path is described as flat and accessible, and the event allows running or walking. Chip timing is provided by Pikes Peak Road Runners. A T-shirt for the event is designed by a high school art student. Organizers state that all proceeds go to Manitou Springs School District and the high school cross country team.

Registration opens 6/5/2026 and closes 10/10/2026; published registration fees are $40.00 for the main 5K and $25.00 for the 18-and-under entry.
Post-race offerings include Kangaroo coffee, snacks from the Garden of the Gods Trading Post and quesadillas provided by the elementary school PAC team. Stio will have a booth with giveaways. Finalists receive prizes from Manitou Brewery and Penny Arcade, and awards are scheduled to follow the final finisher. Attendees are asked to bring their own water bottle to minimize waste.
