Mandurah Triathlon Club Race Day
The Mandurah Triathlon Club holds a club race day in Halls Head offering triathlon, duathlon and aquabike formats in two distance options: Enticer and Club Standard. The event uses a mass water or beach start depending on conditions and includes volunteers supporting key locations on the course.
Racers set up transition areas with bike racks provided; racks are organised to accommodate multiple bikes and athletes are asked to remove bags from transition after setting up. Timing chips are worn on the left ankle and collected after finishing. Participants must obey local road traffic laws during the cycle sections as there are no road closures.
Registration is available online and on race day, with on-site registration handled by a registration coordinator who issues race numbers and timing chips. A race briefing is held shortly before the start to explain the course and any safety requirements. After the last competitor finishes, participants pack up transition areas and equipment and volunteers begin dismantling race infrastructure.
