Manchester MoRun at Heaton Park
The Manchester MoRun is a series of chip timed runs held at Heaton Park on 22 November 2026. The event offers multiple distances that include a 1.5 km children’s run, a 5 km, a 10 km and a half marathon. Entrants receive a race number with chip, a MoRunning headband and a finish medal, and refreshments and sweets are available at the finish.
- 1.5 km Mini MoRun for children
- 5 km MoRun one lap
- 10 km MoRun two laps
- Half marathon four laps plus an extra 1.1 km section
The route mixes path and trail surfaces and is undulating. The course is dog friendly and generally okay for buggies, though some sections can be bumpy or muddy and the route is not suitable for wheelchairs. Two sections involve road crossings where extra care is required. Marshals are present on the course and runners should keep to the left unless directed otherwise.
Event facilities include toilets, limited bag storage near registration, and an event hub in the Bowl below the Farm Centre. Parking is available on site with pay and display at the St Margaret’s Gate entrance, postcode M25 2SW. The Heaton Park Metrolink stop is opposite the park. Placings are reported by gun time and runners also receive net times; results are posted to participant profiles and the event results system. The series supports Movember, raising awareness and funds for men’s health causes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
