Manchester MoRun - Heaton Park
The Manchester MoRun takes place at Heaton Park bowl on 22 November 2026. The event offers a mix of family and mass participation runs and supports Movember, raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Distances offered:
- 1.5 km Mini MoRun

- 10 km MoRun
- Half marathon MoRun
The route is a mix of path and trail running, undulating in places. The course is dog friendly and generally okay for buggies but some sections can be bumpy or muddy. It is not suitable for wheelchairs. Two sections involve road crossings; participants should take care and follow marshal instructions. The 5 km is one lap, the 10 km is two laps and the half marathon is four laps plus an additional 1.1 km section.
The event is chip timed with gun and net times provided and placings based on gun time. Facilities include full race chip timing, marked and marshalled course, water stations, finish line sweets, medical cover, toilets and limited bag storage under manned gazebos. Entries include a MoRunning medal and headband, with additional medals and trophies for winners, best dressed and spot prize categories. Parking in and around the park is pay and display; the preferred park entrance postcode is M25 2SW. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
