ASICS Manchester Half
The ASICS Manchester Half is a half marathon covering 13.1 miles that takes place each October. The race traditionally starts and finishes by Old Trafford and uses closed public roads for the course.
Since its launch in 2016 the event has been praised by participants for professional delivery, a flat route with no major hills and strong crowd support along the course. The 2025 event welcomed over 28,000 participants.
Race features listed by the organiser include live performances, DJs and cheer zones positioned along the route, a medal provided to all finishers and a finisher tee offered for 2026 by pre-order. The event is licensed by England Athletics and will be held under UK Athletics rules for competition.
