ASICS Manchester Half
The ASICS Manchester Half is a 13.1 mile road race held each October, traditionally starting and finishing by Old Trafford. The event runs on a closed-road route and is described by the organiser as having a flat profile with no major hills.
The race launched in 2016. The 2025 edition welcomed over 28,000 participants. The event is licensed by England Athletics and is held under UK Athletics rules for competition.
Along the course there are live acts, DJs and designated cheer zones. After the finish, all finishers receive a medal and the event provides post-event refreshments and recovery items as part of the race-day offering. The organiser publishes a participant guide, a route map and additional participant information resources for those taking part.
