ASICS Manchester Half
The ASICS Manchester Half is a 13.1 mile running event held annually in Manchester. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Sunday 4th October. As one of the largest half marathons in the region, previous editions have seen participation from over 28,000 to 32,000 runners.
The course is characterized by its flat terrain, which lacks major hills. This layout is designed to facilitate faster running times. The route takes place on entirely closed roads and traditionally starts and finishes near Old Trafford. Throughout the course, participants encounter various entertainment acts, including live performances, DJs, and designated cheer zones.
The event is licensed by England Athletics and operates under UK Athletics Rules for Competition. All participants who complete the distance receive a finisher's medal.
