Phoenix Running - Manchester Bees vs Dragons
Bees vs Dragons is a timed draw event held at Hardy Farm, Brookburn Road, Manchester M21 8FE. Participants reach into a box, draw a chit and are assigned to either Bees or Dragons; no exchanges, no changes, and no peeking are allowed.
The event is lap based along the River Mersey in Chorlton Water Park. Participants may complete one lap minimum or continue completing laps up to the full seven hour time limit. All attended and virtual participants receive a giveaway or bespoke finisher medal.

The course follows an off road riverside towpath with very little elevation gain or loss. A race brief is sent one week before the event and is mandatory reading for all participants. An aid station offers a variety of vegetarian items, many vegan choices, and some gluten free options; participants with severe allergies are asked to bring their own food.
Facilities at Race HQ include toilets and changing rooms. Parking for 75 cars is available at Hardy Farm on a first come, first serve basis. Additional parking for up to 100 cars is available across the river at Sale Water Park, about a 15 minute walk from the start. The chosen charity for the event is to be confirmed.
