Manassas Battlefield Trust 5k and 10k
This event offers a trail run through Manassas National Battlefield with the start and finish at the Winery at Bull Run in Centreville, Virginia. The course follows cross country paths, dirt trail, a boardwalk, and some gravel; there are a few hills. The 5 km course is one lap and the 10 km is two laps of the same loop.
Participants receive a finisher medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, chip timing, and one glass of wine from the Winery at Bull Run. Live results will be available during the race and final results with series points are posted the Monday after the event. A virtual race option is available for those who cannot attend in person.
Water stations are placed along the course: three on the 10 km at approximately mile markers 1.55, 3.1 and 4.65, and one on the 5 km at approximately mile 1.55. Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are located inside the winery. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered; t shirt sizes are guaranteed only for earlier registrants.
