MammothMarch Upstate New York - Letchworth State Park
MammothMarch Upstate New York is a single-circuit, 20-mile hiking event taking place on August 8, 2026, at Letchworth State Park (Castile Entrance, 6787 Denton Corners Rd, Genesee Falls, NY). The route follows the Genesee River, passes scenic waterfall and gorge viewpoints, and covers a variety of terrain including paved and unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads, and forest floor.
The course has a total elevation gain of about 2,300 ft. Aid and refreshment stations are positioned roughly every 5–7 miles and provide toilets, food, and drinks; offerings vary by station and include water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruits, cereal or protein bars, and PBJ sandwiches. Participant progress is tracked with bib numbers at designated touchpoints to comply with park regulations.
All participants who complete the distance receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate; participants who stop early receive a certificate indicating covered mileage. A wall of fame records finishers. Complimentary parking is available on site.
The event is sold out; a wait list is maintained and notifications are issued if additional tickets become available on a first-come, first-served basis. Lodging options have been arranged through a travel partner and park accommodations are also noted.
