About the race
The Cystic Fibrosis Turkey Trot is the 14th annual Thanksgiving event held on November 26, 2026 in Wyoming, New York. The race starts and finishes at the Wyoming Hook & Ladder Fire Company, 26 Maple Street, and uses a flat, fast 5K course.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. Packet pickup and race-day registration take place inside the Fire Hall, and an early packet pickup option is available the evening before the race. Official race shirts are provided to the first 400 registered participants. The 2026 shirts are loose-fit, men's sized long sleeve tech shirts that run a little large; an adult XS and additional youth sizes have been added.
Registration fees are listed as $35 through November 25, 2026 and $40 for race day registration. The virtual 5K is $35 through race day and includes mailing of swag. Virtual participants choose their own place and time to complete the 5K and may use the event mobile app to track and upload times or manually enter results between November 28 and December 31.
Gun start and chip finish timing uses Jaguar Electronic RFID timing provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated in real time and can be accessed via the event mobile app, RMS race results kiosks or the race results websites. A post-race celebration with refreshments and an awards ceremony follows the event.
