MammothMarch Oregon - Silver Falls State Park
MammothMarch Oregon takes place on March 20, 2027, at Silver Falls State Park, south of Portland and east of Salem. The event features a single-circuit route of 20 miles that passes a series of waterfalls and dense forest trails inside Oregon’s largest state park.
The route uses trails such as Canyon Trail, Perimeter Trail, Ten Falls Trail, and Buck Mountain Loop, with a total elevation gain of around 2,900 ft. Terrain is mainly unpaved hiking trails, dirt paths, gravel roads, and forest floor. The loop highlights the park’s waterfalls and wooded scenery, including ten notable waterfalls mentioned by the organizer.
Aid and refreshment stations are located along the route, roughly every 5–7 miles, and provide toilets, food, and drinks; these refreshments are included in the ticket cost. All participants who complete the distance receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate; participants who stop early receive a certificate noting mileage covered. MammothMarch Hiking Passes will be available for new participants, and returning participants can collect 2027 stamps on their existing passes.
Complimentary parking is available on site. Merchandise ordered during registration will be available for pick up on event day, while items ordered via the official store will be shipped. Lodging and accommodation details will be provided later. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
