MammothMarch Cuyahoga Valley
MammothMarch Cuyahoga Valley is sold out for the 2026 edition. A wait list is maintained for any tickets that become available.
The event is scheduled for September 20, 2026, and uses a single-circuit loop of 20 miles through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The route runs along named trails including Wetmore Trail, Valley Trail, Salt Run Trail and the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath. Total elevation gain is around 1,700 ft. Terrain is mainly unpaved hiking trails, dirt and gravel roads, and forest floor, with a small stretch along the Towpath that is less than 2 miles in total.
Aid and refreshment stations are positioned approximately every 5-7 miles and provide toilets, food and drinks. Refreshments listed for stations include water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruits, cereal or protein bars and PBJ sandwiches; these are included in the event ticket. Parking is complimentary on site.
There is no official timekeeping and every participant who completes the distance receives a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Participants who stop early receive a certificate stating mileage covered. MammothMarch Hiking Passes will be available for new participants; returning participants are asked to bring existing passes for 2026 stamps.
Event merchandise is available by pre-order for pick up on event day through the event store, while the official online shop ships items ordered there. The route is preliminary, will be marked shortly before the event and may be adjusted for weather or official directives. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
