When and where
The events take place on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at the Hudson Visitors Center, 27 East Main St, Hudson, OH 44236.
Entry and registration
Regular registration (through December 13) is Frosty 5: $35 and Mistletoe Mile: $15. Late registration (December 14-24) is Frosty 5: $40 and Mistletoe Mile: $15. Race day packet pickup is offered at Vertical Runner Hudson; early packet pickup dates are listed as TBD.
Course, aid and timing
A Frosty 5 course map is provided by the organizer. Water stops are located at mile 1.7 and mile 3.8; participants are encouraged to carry water. Additional snacks are provided at the finish. The events are part of the Western Reserve Racing chip-timed road race series.
Swag and awards
Frosty 5 participants receive either a triblend tee (green or red) and a finisher medal, or a Brooks Podium Tech tee and a finisher medal for a $5 premium. Mistletoe Mile participants receive a finisher medal. Additional tee add-ons are available for a fee. Frosty 5 awards include top three overall male and female, and top three male and female in standard five-year age groups from 14 & under through 70 & over.
Other information
The race is the 12th annual Frosty 5 & Mistletoe Mile. Donations benefit Destination Hudson. Parking is available at the First & Main parking garage and on-street. The RaceJoy app is offered for live phone tracking, GPS progress alerts, and cheers; users must carry a phone and activate tracking. The organizer notes Santa and reindeer may appear on the course.
