Mamba 100 - Memphis, TN
The Mamba 100 is a multi distance trail running event held at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead in Memphis, TN. Races use a central 14 mile loop of mostly flat, smooth single-track with a few small hills and a short lead in section before runners enter the loop.
Distances:
- 100 Mile - 7 loops plus a 2 mile start section, approximately 100 miles
- 100K - 4 loops plus a 6 mile start section, approximately 62 miles
- 50K - 2 loops plus a 3 mile start section, approximately 31 miles
- 25K - 1 loop plus a 1.5 mile start section, approximately 15.5 miles
Two primary aid stations support the loop course: a Bridge aid station and a Start/Finish aid station. Aid is available roughly every 4 to 5 miles. Stations provide Tailwind hydration plus water, electrolyte drinks, standard ultra nutrition, and rotating hot food during evening and overnight hours. The Start/Finish area serves as the primary hub for crews, drop bags, and personal aid stations.
Race awards include top three male and female placings for each distance. All 100 mile finishers receive custom buckles with additional sub 20 and sub 24 hour buckles; 100K finishers receive a 100K buckle; 50K and 25K finishers receive medals. The event is a Western States qualifier for the 100 mile distance. Age minimums apply by distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
