8th Annual Malvern Prep Alumni 5K
The Malvern Prep Alumni Association hosts the eighth edition of this annual running event on the Malvern Prep campus in Pennsylvania. The race is held in memory of Joy Pancoast, a long-time member of the school community and outdoor enthusiast. Proceeds from the event support the Malvern Prep Alumni Association, the Alumni Association Legacy iMPact Scholarship, and the Joy Pancoast Scholarship at St. Agnes.
The course covers various areas of the 103-acre campus, utilizing a mix of surfaces. Participants transit the campus ring road, run alongside different playing fields, and complete sections on the school track. The event serves as a gathering for alumni and the wider community to view the campus grounds while supporting local educational scholarships.
The Joy Pancoast Scholarship, supported by this race, is awarded to St. Agnes eighth-grade students who plan to attend a Catholic high school. Recipients are selected based on leadership qualities and their contributions to their community and school.
