Frozen Hare Swim and TriFest
Frozen Hare Swim and TriFest is a multisport event held on 12/12/2026 at Lawrence Park Swim Club, 293 Langford Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. The venue is an outdoor heated 25 meter pool that is generally kept near 81–82 F.
The program includes pool swims, running only races, triathlons, duathlons, aquathlons, aquabike options, and virtual equivalents. Distances and example events include:
- SwimFest: 5K and 1K pool swims.
- Run: 3 Mile run.
- Runner's Aquathlon: 1K swim and 3 Mile run.
- Swimmer's Aquathlon: 5K swim and 3 Mile run.
- Kid's Sprint Aquathlon: 300 m swim and 1 Mile run.
- Adult Sprint Aquathlon: 300 m swim and 1 Mile run.
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 11.8 mi bike, 3 Mile run.
- Olympic Triathlon: 1500 m swim, 22.8 mi bike, 6 Mile run.
- Swimmer's Triathlon: 5K swim, 22.8 mi bike, 6 Mile run.
- Sprint Duathlon: 11.8 mi bike and 3 Mile run.
- Olympic Duathlon: 22.8 mi bike and 6 Mile run.
- Virtual options mirror many in person events.
For multisport entries, only the time for each individual leg is recorded; transition times are not kept. Swimmers may be asked to share lanes and will receive heat and lane assignments. Bike and run legs are fully self supported with no traffic control and no course markings; stationary trainer rides may be submitted and are scored separately from road rides. All legs must be completed on the day of the event.
Race entries include a race t shirt if entry is received by 11/12. No refunds are issued and bib transfers to non registered people are not permitted. Registered athletes may request a deferral or event transfer at least 14 days before the event for a nominal fee. There is parking on site.
