Malta Mile
The Malta Mile is a community running event held in Malta, New York. The race takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026. This point-to-point course is scheduled to occur just before the Malta Veteran's Appreciation Day Parade, allowing participants and spectators to stay and watch the parade festivities following the run.
The course route begins north of the Town of Malta Community Center on Bayberry Drive. From the start, runners travel south on Route 9, navigate around the "four corners" roundabout, and continue toward the finish line located near Ellsworth Commons. The event features a single distance:

Registration is open to various age groups, with specific pricing available for children aged 12 and under and seniors aged 70 and over. Participants have the option to donate during the registration process. The event is organized in coordination with the Roundabout Runners Club and the Town of Malta Parks and Recreation department.
