Malta 5K presented by GlobalFoundries and the Roundabout Runners Club
The Malta 5K is a community 5 kilometer road race held in Malta, NY at 345 Hermes Rd on September 12, 2026. The event is organized by the Roundabout Runners Club and supports local not for profits around the anniversary of 9/11, including Alliance180, Malta Ridge Fire Department, Round Lake Fire Department, and Malta Stillwater EMS. The course is USATF certified and the race director is RRCA certified.

Registration and entry fees include a pre registration rate of $30 until August 31 and $35 after that date. Discounted pricing of $20 applies to ages 12 and under and ages 70 and older. Day of race registration is listed at $40. A virtual 5K option is available for $25. A buy three get one free discount applies when four qualifying participants are added at once. Running hats are available to the first 750 registered participants.
Packet pickup and in person registration are offered on the Friday before the race at Fleet Feet Malta, with packet pickup and day of registration available on race day. Awards include top three male and female overall and top three male and female in age groups from 0-9 through 80 plus. Teams are eligible for tiered participation payouts with higher amounts for larger team entry totals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
