Mallory Park - Swim, Bike, & Run Sessions
Mallory Park hosts summer evening training sessions that combine open-water swimming, cycling and running on the venue's closed tarmac circuit and central lake. The 2026 season starts on 6 May 2026 and sessions run every Monday and Wednesday evening.
The lake is fully marked with a range of lap options and a dedicated water safety team is present. Swimming options include timed laps, group-sighting practice, and a social swim; when conditions allow, a route around the back of the island is available. Swimming activity is described as suitable for anyone who can confidently swim 100 m.
The traffic-free tarmac circuit is available for cycling and running activities. The surface supports work on bike position, group riding practice, structured run sessions such as intervals or threshold work, and uninterrupted laps. Transition racking is provided for practising T1 and T2.
Pricing notes that a pre-booked session fee is £8.50, with a higher rate for last-minute bookings and monthly passes available for regular attendees. Coaches attend free of charge. Kayaks or SUPs may be used for on-water coaching provided they stay clear of the main swimming line.
Under-16s must be supervised by a competent adult and under-12s attend free. Dogs are not permitted beyond the green entry gates. The main entrance may be closed in the evening; signs direct arrivals to the competitors entrance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
