Mallory Park Swim, Bike, and Run Sessions
Mallory Park runs a series of summer evening training sessions at a closed-circuit race track with an open water lake. The 2026 season begins on 6 May and sessions take place every Monday and Wednesday evening during the season.
Open water swimming takes place in a fully marked lake with multiple lap options. Sessions include timed laps, sighting and group swimming practice, and a social swim option. A section around the back of the island is available for swims when conditions allow. Swimmers should be able to swim confidently for 100 m. A dedicated water safety team is present.
Cycling and running use the smooth, traffic free tarmac circuit. Activities include bike position work, group riding practice, structured run sessions such as intervals or threshold efforts, and uninterrupted laps. Transition racking is provided for practising T1 and T2.
Coaches attend free of charge. Kayaks or stand up paddleboards may be used for on water coaching provided they stay clear of the main swim line. Under 16s must be supervised by a competent adult and supervising adults remain responsible for children. One under 12 may attend free with each paying adult; additional under 12s require a ticket. Advance booking is required and gate payment is not accepted. Dogs are not permitted beyond the green entry gates. Free on site car parking is available.
