Clipston Trail Half and Country 5 Miler
The Clipston Trail Races comprise a half marathon and a country 5 mile route run on trails around Clipston, Market Harborough. The event is organised with the Clipston Recreation Field Trust and proceeds support maintenance and development of the village playing fields, including future replacement of the tennis courts as required.
The routes start from the recreation ground opposite the pavilion and head immediately uphill into the countryside. Runners follow bridleways with short sections on minor country roads, and the final stretch from Kelmarsh back to Clipston is on a footpath. The half marathon route gains a total of 237 m in elevation and offers views across the Northamptonshire countryside.

Entry fees are listed as £25.00 for the half marathon and £18.00 for the 5 miler. Competitors must be at least 17 on race day. Online entries close the Wednesday before the race and transfers close the Sunday before.
There are four water stations on the half marathon route and one on the 5 miler; runners are asked to bring their own cup for refills. Number and chip collection is available on race morning. Free on-site parking is provided in the field opposite the recreation ground. All finishers receive a medal and homemade cake provided by Clipston W.I.
