City of Lincoln 10K
The City of Lincoln 10K is a road race in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, held on Sunday 4 April 2027. The route starts on Riseholme Road and finishes near Lincoln Cathedral, passing city landmarks such as the Roman Walls, Lincoln Cathedral and the city gardens. The course is described as fast and flat and is accompanied by spectator support along the route.
Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. The event uses chip timing and provides an exclusive medal and a finisher's goody bag. Participants may pre-order a finisher t-shirt and can collect a t-shirt, drink and medal after crossing the finish line. A staffed Event Village is located at Lincoln Castle.
On course there are water stations offering 330 ml bottles with recycling bins at each station. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times. Medical cover includes fixed first aid stations near water points, a first aid unit and recovery area by the finish, and roaming first aiders in the Event Village. Toilets are provided around the stadium and a zero tolerance policy applies to urinating outside allocated facilities.
Practical information includes posted race numbers 7 to 10 days before the event or collection only, baggage details to be confirmed nearer the date, and travel options by car, train or on foot.
