City of Lincoln 10K
The City of Lincoln 10K takes place in Lincoln on Sunday 04 April 2027. The route starts on Riseholme Road and finishes near Lincoln Cathedral, with the Event Village located at Lincoln Castle. The 10K course is described as fast and flat and passes city sights such as the Roman Walls, Lincoln Cathedral, and the city gardens. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day.
Race services include chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal, and the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. There are water stations on course providing 330 ml bottles and recycling bins at each station. Pacers with finish-time flags are available on course, and medical personnel are positioned at regular intervals, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the finish and roaming first aiders in the Event Village. Toilets are provided around the stadium and baggage arrangements are communicated closer to the event. Clothing left at the start is collected for donation unless placed in the baggage store. The Event Village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Event photography is available through MarathonPhotos and official results are published after the race.
