City of Lincoln 10K
The City of Lincoln 10K is scheduled for Sunday 04 April 2027 in Lincoln. The start line is listed as Riseholme Road and the course finishes by the Priory Gate, with an Event Village located in the grounds of Lincoln Castle.
The route passes notable city sights including Lincoln Cathedral, the Roman Walls and the city gardens. The event page describes the course as fast and flat and notes that spectators line parts of the route.
Included with entry are a finisher medal, chip timing and a goody bag, with an optional finisher t shirt available to purchase. Entrants must be aged 15 years or over on the day.
On course there are water stations supplying 330ml bottles and recycling bins at each water station. Fixed first aid stations are positioned near water stations, with a first aid unit and a recovery unit near the start and finish and roaming first aid cover in the Event Village. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times. MarathonPhotos will take on course photographs and results are published after the event.
Practical arrangements include a designated baggage store with bag labels on race numbers, allocated toilets, and a policy to collect and donate clothing discarded at the start unless left in the baggage store. Travel and parking notes include Sudbrooke Drive car park LN2 2EF, a 15 to 20 minute walk from the start, Breedon Drive car park LN1 3QE for blue badge holders, and Lincoln Railway Station which is about a 45 minute walk or a 10 minute drive from the start. Sustainability measures include trainer drop off points with JogOn and encouragement to use public transport or car sharing. Headphones are allowed only if bone conducting and used at low volume.
