About the race
The City of Lincoln 10K is a road race held in Lincoln on Sunday 04 April 2027. The event is a 10 km course that starts on Riseholme Road and finishes by the Priory Gate.
The course is described as fast and flat and passes notable city landmarks including Lincoln Cathedral, the Roman Walls and the city gardens. An Event Village will be located in the grounds of Lincoln Castle where participants and spectators can find food and drink options and partner charities.
Entries include a finisher medal, chip timing and a goody bag, with an optional finisher's t-shirt available as an upgrade. Entrants must be aged 15 years or over on the day of the race.
Support and services on race day include fixed water stations supplying 330 ml bottles, fixed first aid stations near water points, a first aid unit and a recovery unit near the start and finish, roaming first aiders in the Event Village, and friendly pacers sponsored by Arla Protein. Baggage can be left in a designated baggage store using the label on the race number. Photographers from MarathonPhotos will be on course and official results will be published after the event.
Sustainability measures include recycling bins at each water station and JogOn trainer drop off points in the Event Village.
