Make It To The Line 4 Mile Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Run
The 39th annual Make It To The Line event takes place on December 26, 2026, in Pensacola, FL. The event offers multiple participant options:
- 4 Mile Run and Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run
Proceeds from the event benefit the Perdido Key Secret Santa program, which provides local families with Christmas gifts, clothing, and food.
Packet pickup is held at the Flora-Bama in the tent on race day only; there is no early packet pickup on the Friday before due to the holiday. The event uses age divisions for the 4-mile run and walk; listed groups include 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+. For each age group in both the run and the walk, only first place is awarded for male and female participants. Special awards are given for Overall Male and Overall Female runners and walkers. Running is not permitted in the walk race and participants who run in the walk will be disqualified.
The first 500 finishers receive a medal and awards must be picked up on race day. A shirt is provided for the first 600 registrants; sizes selected during online registration remain available while listed. A post-race breakfast buffet and beverages are available at the Flora-Bama, and participants aged 21 and over receive two complimentary draft beers. A 7.5% sales tax is collected on registrations.
