Gulf Coast Series March 15 - 18, 2027
The Gulf Coast Series is a four-day running series held across four states: Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida. Each day is a separate race in a different coastal city: Beaumont, TX; Jennings, LA; Gulfport, MS; and Pensacola, FL. The series uses multi-loop courses and provides a large central aid station serving food and drink options that include fruit, jelly beans, sandwiches, water, sports drink, and hot coffee. The event operates a mobile kitchen called Loony Lunchbox.
Packet pickup is available before the series and on race mornings at the start line. There is no official time limit for finishers; organizers state a no-runner-left-behind policy and remain until the final finisher crosses the line. Pets are not permitted; strollers are allowed for small children. Discounts include a $10 reduction for active military and for members of clubs that list these events on their calendars; a local participant discount is also offered.
All participants receive a shirt and multiple medals for each state/race completed: a Starter Medal, a Year Tab Medal, and a State Medal. Completing all days earns a Series Finisher Medal; medals connect into a single string. Special awards include recognition for first-time full or half marathon finishers and a caboose medal for the final finisher of each marathon and half.
