Sea Rim Striders' Turkey Trot 2026
The Sea Rim Striders Run Club presents the 36th annual Turkey Trot on November 26, 2026 at The Event Centre, 700 Crockett St., Beaumont, Texas. The event serves as the club's signature fundraiser and benefits the nonprofit Ability Central Works.
Distances offered include:
- 1K Kids K and Special Needs Kids K
- 5K including an adaptive athlete division
- 10K including an adaptive athlete division
Race services and features include disposable chip timing on the bib for the 5K and 10K with Pelican Timing, USATF course certification for both the 5K and 10K (TX18079LAB and TX18080LAB), finisher medals with custom ribbons, and free post-race food and drink provided by event sponsors. Short-sleeve red shirts are available in Youth 2T through Adult 5X, in men's unisex and women's v-neck cuts, made from Ledger tech fabric. Shirt purchases may be available on race day if extras remain.
Registration fees are flat with no refunds; listed base fees include Kids 1K $10, 5K $30, and 10K $40, with separate pricing for adaptive and special needs divisions and available discounts for club members and military participants. Award structure includes 1st–3rd overall male and female in the 5K and 10K, masters divisions, and five-year age-group awards; adaptive participants are not included in awards categories. Packet pickup takes place at The Event Centre the day before the race, with limited race morning pickup available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
