Sea Rim Striders' Turkey Trot 2026
The Sea Rim Striders' Turkey Trot is the club's 36th annual signature fundraiser, held in Beaumont, Texas at The Event Centre on Thanksgiving morning. The event is organized by an all-volunteer nonprofit running club and benefits a local 501(c)(3) charity, Ability Central Works.
Distances offered:
- Kids K : 1K, timed; top male and female overall awards
- Kids K (Special Needs) : 1K, for individuals with special needs; free escort allowed with waiver
- 5K : chip-timed with disposable chip-on-bib timing
- 10K : chip-timed with disposable chip-on-bib timing
Race swag includes short-sleeved red shirts in Youth 2T through Adult 5X (men's unisex and women's v-neck cuts) and custom finisher medals with neck ribbons for all finishers. The 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified and use Pelican Timing chip timing.
Registration is a flat fee with no refunds; listed fees include Kids 1K $10, 5K $30, 10K $40. Discount codes are available for club members and military; a $5 discount for special needs/adaptive athletes is applied to division pricing. Adaptive participants are not included in awards categories.
Packet pickup is at The Event Centre the day before the race with a race morning pickup window available. The event provides free post-race food and drink and posts race photos after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
