Machete Muertos 200
Machete Muertos 200 is part of the Machete Trail Madness series held at Lake Perris in Perris, CA. The event includes multiple trail distances run on looped courses around the lake and in surrounding terrain. The organizer describes the 200 mile distance as having over 44,000 feet of elevation gain, technical terrain, and a 96 hour cutoff.

- 200 Miler - 200 miles with over 44,000 feet of elevation gain
- 100 Miler - 100 miles on the same looped course
- 50 Miler - 50 miles on the 10 mile plus loop
- 20 Mile Ruck Division - 20 mile loop around the lake
- 10 Miler - shorter loop option
Course details note a 10 mile plus loop with about 2,300 feet of elevation per lap for the 10 and 50 mile races, and a 20 mile lake course with approximately 4,500 feet of elevation gain used by the 20, 100, and 200 mile distances. Aid stations include a full station at mile 6 for the 10 and 50 mile courses and aid at miles 8 and 13 for the 20, 100, and 200 mile courses. Pacer rules vary by distance; pacers are permitted for longer distances after specified laps, with one pacer at a time. Group tent camping is provided for participants and guests without hookups. Cash prizes are offered for top three finishers in the 100 and 200 mile events. The event notes a no refunds policy and limited options for transfers in special cases.
