The 200 mile course is listed with over 44,000 feet of elevation gain and is run on technical trail terrain. The 20 mile course circumnavigates the lake and has about 4,500 feet of elevation gain per loop. The 10 mile loop used for the 10 and 50 milers gains about 2,300 feet per lap.

Cutoff times are specified by distance, including a 96 hour cutoff for the 200 mile event, 48 hours for the 100 mile, 24 hours for 50 milers, 12 hours for the 20 mile ruck division, and no cutoff for the 10 miler. The start and finish area serves as a transition area with additional supplies.

Pacers are permitted under the event rules: none for the 10 or ruck division; 50 milers may pick up a pacer for their final lap; 100 milers after 60 miles; 200 milers after 80 miles. Camping is provided in a group tent campground with no trailers or hookups; family and pacers may camp at no extra cost. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three overall for the 200 and 100 mile distances. The event notes that the 200 mile distance requires specific prior preparation or prior completion of equivalent long-distance events. No refunds are offered; limited transfer options are described.
