MACC Run the Runway
This is the first MACC Run the Runway event, held in support of the My Name'5 Doddie foundation. It is a charitable fundraising opportunity where participants run, jog, or walk a 6 km (3.7 mile) out-and-back route on Scotland's longest runway. The event date is 22 February 2026.
The minimum age for entry is 8 years old on race day. Participants are asked to note on the entry form if they are a disabled athlete so organizers can discuss course suitability. All competitors will receive an individual race memento.
On-site vehicle parking is available. Toilet facilities are provided, and soup and rolls are available after the run. Registration opens at 11:00. Competitors must be registered and ready on the airfield before 11:50 for a 12:00 start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
