MACC Run the Runway : Event overview
The event on 22 February 2026 is the first MACC Run the Runway and is held in support of the My Name'5 DODDIE' foundation Triple Crown. It is organised as a charitable fundraising opportunity open to runners, joggers and walkers at their own pace.
The course uses an airfield runway and follows a 6 km (3.7 mile) out and back route. The minimum age of entry is 8 years old on race day. Participants who identify as disabled athletes are asked to record this on the entry form so the organisers can discuss course suitability.
All competitors receive individual race mementos. Parking is available on site and toilet facilities are provided. Soup and rolls are served after the run. The organiser has included pricing information and a service fee applies to sign-ups, with a fee of 4 percent and a minimum charge of 50 pence.
