About the race
The Mableton Pumpkin Chase is a community Halloween event on October 17, 2026, at 5239 Floyd Road, Mableton, Georgia. The event includes running and walking activities for families, children, and pets.

- Kids Fun Run
The program includes a scenic 5K course through the heart of Mableton, a pet costume contest sponsored by Happy Paws Inn, participant costume contests, finisher medals, and official event shirts. A Wellness Village features interactive demonstrations, fitness classes, wellness presentations, health education, giveaways, and family-friendly activities offered by local health and fitness organizations and community partners.
Additional event elements include music and live entertainment, dance performances, a pumpkin ring toss, fitness and wellness demonstrations, local vendors, and games for all ages. Awards are given for overall male and female, first place male and female in each age group, best Halloween costume, and best pet costume.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2026, at Big Peach Running Co. - Vinings; in-store discounts will be available. The event is organized by It Starts With Me 2, a nonprofit focused on combating childhood obesity and promoting health and community engagement.
