Mableton Pumpkin Chase
The Mableton Pumpkin Chase is a community Halloween festival held in Mableton, Georgia on October 17, 2026. The event is organized by It Starts With Me 2 and supports its work on childhood obesity prevention and community health promotion.
The event program includes multiple running and walking options:
- 5K Run/Walk : 3.1 Miles
- 1-Mile Pet Walk with a pet costume contest
- Kids Fun Run
Event features include finisher medals and official event shirts, Halloween treats, a participant costume contest, a separate pet costume contest, live music and entertainment, and family-friendly activities. A Wellness Village will host interactive demonstrations, fitness classes and presentations, health education, giveaways, and resources from local health and fitness organizations. Post-race activities include games such as a pumpkin ring toss, dance performances, fitness demonstrations, and local vendors.
Awards are given for overall male and female, first place male and female in each age group, best Halloween costume, and best pet costume. Packet pickup is scheduled for October 14, 2026 at Big Peach Running Co. - Vinings.
