Mableton Pumpkin Chase
The Mableton Pumpkin Chase is a Halloween-themed community running event on October 17, 2026, at 5239 Floyd Road, Mableton, GA. The event is presented by the nonprofit It Starts With Me 2 and features a 5K run/walk and a kids fun run.

The course is described as scenic and passes through the heart of Mableton. Participants receive finisher medals and event shirts, and there will be candy and costume prizes. Music, entertainment, and family activities are planned throughout the event, with appearances by community figures and costumed characters.
A Wellness Village will feature local health and fitness organizations, wellness professionals, and community resources offering demonstrations, giveaways, and interactive activities aimed at promoting healthy living for families.
Post-race festivities include hay rides around the amphitheatre grounds, a pumpkin smash zone, dance performances, live entertainment, fitness demonstrations, games, vendors, and other family-oriented activities.
Awards will be given for Overall Male and Overall Female, plus 1st place in each age group. Packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Big Peach Running Co. - Vinings from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by a shake-out run on the Silver Comet Trail.
