About the race
The Lyndhurst FC Clubhouse Run is a fundraising event for a new Lyndhurst FC clubhouse, staged on Sunday 28th February in the Pondhead Inclosure. The routes run on gravel tracks and start from Beechen Lane. The extent of the courses is limited to avoid disturbing ground nesting birds.
Distances:
- 5k one lap on gravel tracks.
- 10k two laps on gravel tracks.
The event includes chip timing, finishers treats, and bespoke medals and trophies. Race HQ is at the Crown Stirrup Pub, which will offer post-race bacon rolls, hot drinks and a set lunch menu. Car sharing is available.
Entries are open to a wide range of participants, from first timers to club runners of all ages. Under 11s must be accompanied by an adult entrant at all times. Transfers are allowed only after a distance has sold out; deferrals and withdrawals are not accepted. Entry fees are listed for each distance and include a separate booking fee. Following an inaugural event in 2026, organisers expect up to 500 runners on the 5k and 10k routes.
Entries close at 23:00 on Monday 30th November and entrants are responsible for any exchange of funds when transferring places between each other. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
