Lyme Warrior 5K - Johnson City

The event is the 7th annual Lyme Warrior 5K. It includes a 5K run and a fun run color run. The location is Pedernales River Nature Park in Johnson City, Texas.

The event's mission is to increase resources and awareness for Lyme disease, create opportunities for education, and advocate for improved testing and medical care for patients.

Various activities are planned alongside the run. These include tacos and beer from Pecan Street Brewing, a bounce house from Jump Bounce House Rentals, and a silent auction. There is a prize for the "Most Green Worn." Awards are given to the top three finishers in three age groups: 0–18, 19–30, and 31+. The national anthem will be sung by a local teen Lyme warrior.
