Event Overview
The Lyman Orchards Pie Run is an annual running event held in Middlefield, Connecticut. The competition marks its fourth year with courses that travel through hilly orchards and segments of the local Middlefield community. All participants in the adult distances receive a race shirt and a Lyman's Pie as part of their entry fee, though shirts are guaranteed only for those registered by mid October.

The race proceeds benefit local Veterans and the Boxes to Boots organization. The event structure includes a check-in period followed by the specialized children's race before the main distances begin. Post-race refreshments are provided to participants at the finish line area.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additionally, the event recognizes the top male and female runners in several age categories, ranging from 14 and under to 70 years and older. Participation in the Kids Fun Run is free of charge, though registration is mandatory, and this specific category does not include the race shirt or pie.
