LVRR Summer Series
The LVRR Summer Series is a recurring running event held at Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This series consists of five separate races occurring on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September. The event is open to the general public, and participants are not required to be members of the LVRR club to take part.
The competition features a single distance:

The course is set on an accurately measured, mostly flat cinder trail within the parkway. Due to infrastructure maintenance on Bogarts Bridge, the route is subject to modification. The event has a total time limit of 60 minutes, which equates to a pace of 19:35 minutes per mile. All participants must be at least 10 years of age to enter.
Registration for the race is conducted online. On the day of the event, all runners are required to check in at the designated area. The organizers provide refreshments for participants, including hot dogs, water, and chips. The event is structured as a no-frills race focused on the running experience within the park setting.
