LVRR May Summer Series 5K

The LVRR May Summer Series 5K is a free five-race series held on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September. 2026 race dates are May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5 and September 2.

Events take place in Lehigh Parkway at 1600 Park Drive, Allentown, PA 18103. The course is accurately measured and is a mostly flat, cinder trail through the parkway. The course layout was modified in 2025 due to scheduled repairs to Bogarts Bridge.

Participation does not require club membership. Racers must be at least 10 years of age. There is a 60 minute time limit, equivalent to a 19:35 minute per mile pace.

The club provides hotdogs, water and chips after the event and no longer hosts a potluck dinner; participants are asked not to bring food to share. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
