LVRR June Summer Series 5K
This event is the June edition of a free 5k race series held on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September. The 2026 series dates are May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5, and September 2. The June race takes place at Lehigh Parkway, 1600 Park Drive, Allentown, PA 18103.
The series is open to nonmembers of the club. Registration is handled online; registration opens February 11, 2026 and closes June 3, 2026 at 16:45. The registration fee is $0.00. This edition serves as the graduation race for the First Strides program.
The course is accurately measured, mostly flat, and follows a cinder trail in the Parkway. The course was modified in 2025 because of scheduled repairs to Bogarts Bridge. Racers must be at least 10 years of age. A time limit of 60 minutes applies, equivalent to a 19:35 minute per mile pace. Race day check in is required.
The club no longer hosts a potluck dinner. The club will provide hotdogs, water and chips, and participants are asked not to bring food to share. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
