Event Overview

The LVRR June Summer Series 5K is one race in a free five-race series. The series of 5k races is held on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September. The June event is on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Registration for the race is free.

Location & Course

The race takes place at Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The course is an accurately measured 5k run on a mostly flat cinder trail. Due to scheduled repairs to Bogarts Bridge, the course will be modified in 2025.

Participation Details

Participants do not need to be a member of the LVRR club to take part. There is an age minimum: racers must be at least 10 years old. There is a 60-minute time limit for the event, which corresponds to a pace of 19 minutes and 35 seconds per mile.

Post-Race Information

The organizing club provides post-race refreshments, including hotdogs, water, and chips. A previous potluck dinner format has been discontinued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
