LVRR July Summer Series 5K
The LVRR July Summer Series 5K is a part of a free, no-frills racing series organized by the Lehigh Valley Road Runners. The event takes place in Lehigh Parkway in Allentown. The race route meanders along the Little Lehigh Creek and passes beneath mature trees within the park.

The event utilizes an alternate course that begins on Park Drive near the public bathroom. Participants cross a pedestrian footbridge by the LVRR Clubhouse, navigate a hill on Park Drive, and continue onto Bogert's Bridge Road. The path returns along the Little Lehigh Parkway path, passing the kayak parking lot and crossing the Robin Hood Bridge before returning to the clubhouse finish line.
The race has an age requirement of 10 years and older. There is a total time limit of 60 minutes for the completion of the course, which equates to a 19:35 minute per mile pace. Registration is conducted exclusively online and must be completed by late afternoon on the day of the race.
The Lehigh Valley Road Runners provide water, hot dogs, and bagged chips for attendees. As a no-frills event, no awards are presented, though results are published on the organizer's website.
