Event Overview

The LUNGSTRONG 5K Run & 1.5 Mile Walk is a fundraising event in its 13th year. It takes place on May 17, 2026, at 72 Cherry Hill Drive in Beverly, Massachusetts. The event offers both a live, in-person gathering and a virtual participation option from May 17 to 31.

Event Details

Participants can choose from two distances:

A 5K run.
A 1.5-mile walk.

One hundred percent of the proceeds and donations from the event are directed to the Mass General Cancer Center to support thoracic (lung) cancer research. Lung cancer survivors can register for the event for free by using a provided code. The event does not include t-shirts for registrants, but apparel will be available for purchase on-site.
